Today I stayed at home except to mail two packages for Carol. The day was filled with work on the Duckingham Palace duck shed, some irrigation and end-of-season yard work, some planning of December, updating the cash-flow budget for the next few months, and much enjoyable reading. I also wrote a letter to Greg Boyd.
I disconnected the duck yard lights, set until now to come on at 4 a.m. and go off at 10 p.m., to give the ducks their winter rest. They have stopped laying eggs.
